About: The earth and its elements have played a large part in this beauty's path in life. Hailing from Marfa, TX, Tess Seipp has worked with rocks since she was young. Experimenting with how they react with water and their olfactory results became second nature to her. This background led her to start Pretty Hole Collective, a small biodynamic apothecary and perfumery featuring handcrafted medicines for a variety of physical, psychic & other esoteric functions. This dynamic creative also dabbles in the musical arts as well. Her solo project, Molybden, features softly laid out folk tunes about "loss and power". Her delicate voice pairs well with acoustic melodies, singly tales of the homeland and ponders the world around her.
Favorite item at F&N: Melanie Rice bangles. Speaking to her geologic background, Tess was drawn to them because they are made with copper. "Copper is very protective, it keeps the reptilians away". It is also a good metal for creativity. These pieces are each handmade with hammered copper, painted with colored enamel and then finished in the kiln which creates an energetic burst of color and energy. Not only is it a beautiful piece of jewelry but its conductive qualities are an added bonus!
Personal style: Like most creatives, she can be fickle with her every day style and enjoys mixing and matching different elements together. Quality is important which she finds in both vintage clothing and new accessories made by skilled artisans. Some of her favorite pieces were inherited by a friend's Aunt in Olympia, WA (another past stomping ground of hers) which included a white leather jumper with bone buttons from the 60s or 70s and a white lace dress from the 40s.
