Crackers are such a diverse category of dry goods. There are lots of choices out there from the extreme artisanal variety to the simple old classic. Here at F&N, we strive to bring you some of the best pantry items you can find and we think we found it in Potter's Crackers. We're also the only ones in Austin to carry them!
Launched in 2006 by Peter Potter Weber and his mom Nancy Potter, they embarked on a mission to sustainably produce high quality, organic crackers for the great people of Wisconsin and beyond. They saw the cheese industry exploding around them with no deserving cracker to accompany them....and they would know since they come from cheese country! So they decided to combine their love of good food and create the ultimate cracker.
Using top-notch organic ingredients, each cracker is handmade in Madison, Wisconsin with most of the produce deriving from small, local farms. This includes Wisconsin milled whole-wheat flour, local milk and butter, and hazelnuts. They offer 11 different year-round varieties with additional seasonal flavors throughout the year based on what's available at the local farmers' markets.
They also serve the gluten-free community with two special varieties, Toasty Oat and Roasted Garlic, made without wheat. They even mix and bake these crackers in a separate room with separate equipment.

2. Six Seed
This crowd pleaser is made with a combination of traditional seeds with brown and golden flax. It pairs well with almost everything which is why it's one of their best sellers.

3. Caramelized Onion
Many tears were shed while roasting the vast amounts of onions in order to make this delicious breed. It's a staff favorite and might just be yours too!!

I mean let's face it...how could they not pair Wisconsin cheddar cheese with Wisconsin mustard!!!!! This could be the ultimate cracker. The only accompaniment to this one may just be a Wisconsin beer!

You may be thinking....oh it's gluten free? Will it lack in flavor?? No way Jose! They worked hard on coming up with the right recipe that would meet the standards of their regular crackers. Made with certified gluten free oats and oat flour, this crackers is hearty, crisp and flavorful.
