You may have noticed some of the planters we have in the store or you may have just thought it was part of the artistic decor. Well you'd be correct in each case because each planter is one-of-a-kind piece of art. Cody Hoyt, a Brooklyn designer, studied art before finding himself in the ceramic world. His style is pretty unique by combining different wet clays, cutting them up and then reassembling them. Thus creating an optic beauty with a painterly approach. Add in a succulent and you've got yourself a striking new addition to your home. Makes a great gift too!!!
Cody was also featured recently in New York Magazine's post "The Everything Guide To Urban Claymaking" featuring among many other talented people such as Isaac Nichols of Group Partner and Josephine Heilpern of Recreation Center. The ceramic renaissance has begun!!!
