Lee Coren designs are inspired by a mixture of her urban surroundings and the desire for travel. Her collections feature handmade screen printed fabrics and original prints from scenery captured on camera transformed into a versatile accessory using vegan and ethically sourced fabrics. Personal favorites include the photo printed bags but the vegan suede confetti clutch is so beautiful and fun. And for travel, check out her Wanderlust collection of roll top bags that turn into totes and backpacks!
Rise & Ramble is the label of maker, gatherer, and artisanal dyer Andrea Schmidt. Her collections include one-of-a-kind hand dyed textiles for the home and self that explore the use of ancient and modern surface design techniques while mostly using natural and foraged dyes. These napkins offer up a piece of natural elegance to your home and table.
We love Ritual Goods so much we recently ran a feature on our blog with an interview of Oren Porterfield, the mastermind behind this lovely local brand. Learn about her process, inspiration and interests from this beautiful talent. She may be new to the scene but her olfactory senses are right on point. Also be sure to check out all of the wonderful photos we recently took of Oren in some of our favorite vintage items that we've been posting on our Instagram feed. Her other secret talent involves being a dancer in Ballet Austin and her moves make everything look that much cooler.
Inspired by the haunting beauty of the desert, Sonámbulo jewelry celebrates nature's rough edges, compelling textures, and irregular shapes. Each piece embodies the quiet strength of desert dwellers. Shifting sands, dried branches, foreboding cacti are among the images that inspire their work. Each piece is a statement piece that every woman needs in her collection.
The best thing about Almanac for June is how universal and attainable each of these pieces are. With a range from $28 for their Moon Phase studs to $136 for their Moon Phase cuff in silver, you'll want one of each! Hard to tell which one will be your favorite so you might as well add some extra mystical magic to your fingers, ears, and wrists :)
Los Angeles-based artist-turned-designer Hannah Byun created Hansel from Basel in 2007 as a way to apply a sense of much-needed zest to everyday legwear. And we couldn't agree more! Jazz up your feet and your outfit with some of the best socks on the market. What better way to ring in the winter season with some cozy, warm, and cute socks!
